- Fast ferry trips from Bodrum resort province to Greek island of Leros will be launched from July 24.
Having organized fast ferry trips from Bodrum and Marmaris provinces to Greek islands of Kos and Leros, Yeşil Marmaris Yachting and Tourism Agency will offer its clients the fourty-meters-long ferry named "Kartepe" with 430 passenger capacity and a speed capacity of thirty sea mile.
"Kartepe" fast ferry will be crossing into Greek islands in 45 minutes, while standard ferry trips take around six hours.
Vice chairman of the Yeşil Marmaris Yachting and Tourism Agency Şükrü Tugay told that they have been having meetings with Mayor of Leros Mihalis Kolias, opening the doors of ports of entry to Leros island.
“Far from the mass tourisme, Leros is one of the most reposeful cities in Greece, that preserves its cultural identity, architecture, life style and affordable seafood restaurants near the coast. In the last years both local and international tourists have started to show an interest in the island” said Şükrü Tugay.
By round trips of the fast ferry leaving for Leros island in the morning, passangers will be able to return to Bodrum by the evening, costing them only 47 Euros.
