- The 4th International Clarinet Festival set to stage an unforgettable performance, within closing ceremony under the slogan of “Istanbul Breaths”.
Ivo Papazov, awarded by BBC’s “R3 Awards for World Music” and the publicity figure of Bulgaria, and the Traika Band gave a performance, followed by the BARCELONA GIPSY KLEZMER ORCHESTRA melting six different cultures in its music have taken to the stage at the Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall in Istanbul.
Sponsored by Doğuş Group, the Festival has hosted around 2,000 music enthusiasts who have sung along the Balkan rhythms with the groups,
Musicians interpret Aşık Veysel’s cult piece, remember refugees
İvo Papazov also interpreted the famous Turkish folk poet Aşık Veysel's piece “Uzun İnce Bir Yoldayım” (The Day and Night) with his clarnet, applauded for minutes by the audience.
