- Turkey's current account deficit rose by 34 percent to 5.64 billion dollars in November, against in the same month of 2013, according to the data released by the Central Bank of Turkey, on Tuesday.
Analysts and economists at banks and brokerage companies were expecting the November current acoount deficit at 5.2 - 5.4 billion dollars.
Turkey's current account deficit rose to 2.03 billion dollars in October, exceeding the expectations at 1.8-1.9 billion dollars.
Current account deficit rose to the year's highest level in November, while rising to 38.72 billion dollars in January-November period and annual deficit stood at 47.09 billion dollars at the end of November.
