- In Istanbul’s tourism attraction Beyoglu district, an armed person had opened fire over a group after a dispute, injuring five people including a tourist, who was walking on Beyoglu’s İstiklal Street at the time of incident.
An armed person allegedly opened fire on a group that he had quarrelled with, for an unknown reason, injuring four people in the group along with a tourist on the street, around 05.00 am.
Having caused panic in the lively neighbourhood of Beyoglu, the suspect vanished away. The five people injured in the incident were hospitalized near the district. Police teams collected evidence for long time in the scene of accident, and launched an extensive research to find the suspect.
