- Seasonally and calendar adjusted industrial production fell by 0.1 percent compared with the previous month, according to the data released by the Turkish Statistical Institute, on Thursday.
In the sub sectors of the industry, mining and quarrying production fell by 0.8 percent, manufacturing production fell by 0.3 percent, while electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply rose by 0.5 percent, over the same period.
Durable consumer goods production fell by 2.0 percent, in seasonally and calendar adjusted main industrial groupings, the largest in November, compared with the previous month.
Transport equipment production by 21.9 percent as the highest fall, followed by manufacture of basic pharmaceutical products and pharmaceutical preparations by 7.6 percent and manufacture of furniture by 6.3 percent in November, compared with the previous month.
The highest increase was in printing and reproduction of recorded media by 10.1 percent, it is followed by repair and installation of machinery and equipment by 4.0 percent and manufacture of fabricated metal products by 3.6 percent in November, compared with the previous month.
ANNUAL CHANGES
Calendar adjusted industrial production rose by 0.7 percent compared with the same month last year, according to the same data.
Mining and quarrying production increased by 6.3 percent, manufacturing production fell by 0.2 percent and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply production rose by 5.0 percent in November, compared with the same month last year.
