The Consulate in Sarıyer district of Istanbul has announced the closure of consulate to public, after the attack where two offenders have opened fire over the police crew guarding the consulate building on Aug. 10. Having made an early statement today, the consulate declared that the building was reopened to citizens. People flocked to the consulate in the early hours and cued in front of the building for visa procedures. Under severe security measures, people are being subjected to body search and are oriented to a second security point at the entrance.
