- Two police officers were attacked in the Şehitlik district of southeastern Diyarbakır province.
Both of the officers were severely wounded while patrolling, when a terrorist group laid an ambush and opened fire over them at around 15.00 Turkish time, according to initial reports. The police officers were hospitalized to the Dicle University Hospital in the province. Security forces were deployed to the region, as an operation was launched.
