- In the Tekman District of northeastern province Erzurum, terrorists affiliated to the PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party) organized an armed attack using long barrelled weapons.
The incident occurred around 21.00 on July 27, when a group of terrorists attacked the gendarmerie of Kırıkhan Village in the district. The police counterattacked the suspects, resulting a long lasting clash. While officials have not made a statement, three terrorists were claimed to have been killed.
