- The number of new sole proprietorship establishments fell more than half in the first two months of the year against the same period of last year, as the closings keep the same level over the same period.
The number of newly established companies and cooperatives fell by 61.93 percent in the first two months to 10 thousand 94 units, while the number of closed companies remained at almost the same level at 5 thousand 150 units over the same period, according the data released by The Union of Chambers and Commodity on Friday
During the first two month period of 2015, 734 companies with foreign partners were established, 33 percent or 239 of these companies had Syrian partners while 56 had Iranian partners and 51 had Iraqi partners and 47 German.
