In this regard, 15 planes and five ground stations will be assured with combat drones systems designed by the Anka and Kale/Baykar groups within the Turkish Aerospace Industries
The aircrafts designed with domestic means, Bayraktar and Taktik, are in the class of unmanned aerial vehicles
Some 12 Bayraktar modeled drones have been already consigned to the Turkish Land Forces Command in the previous months. The Taktik modeled drones, on the other hand, is about to complete the necessary trainings. The drone systems are expected to begin active duty from the next month, in Turkey’s southeast, amid security tension.
