Industrial Turnover Fell By 0.6 Percent In Feb. On Annual Basis

In the sub sectors of the industry, turnover in the mining and quarrying sector fell by 13.7 percent, fell by 0.2 percent in manufacturing sector in February on annual basis.

Seasonally and calendar adjusted total industrial turnover rose by 3.7 percent in February on monthly basis, lead by turnover rises in mining and quarrying sector by 12.5 percent and manufacturing sector by 3.5 percent.

According to the main industrial groupings, classification, the largest increase was in energy by 11.5 percent in February of 2015, compared with the previous month.

In the sub sectors of the manufacturing the largest increase was in manufacture of other transport equipment by 67.0 percent, followed by manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products by 9.5 percent and manufacture of beverages by 7.1 percent in February, compared with the previous month.

In the sub sectors of the manufacturing the highest decrease was in manufacture of tobacco products by 24.4 percent, followed by other manufacturing by 12.2 percent and repair and installation of machinery and equipment by 7.8 percent in February, compared with the previous month.
