- Non-domestic producer price index (ND-PPI), which measures the change in the price of goods manufactured in the country and exported in a reference period rose by by 2.63 on annual basis in 2014, according the data released by Turkish Statistical Institute (TSI) on Tuesday.
Non-domestic producer price index (ND-PPI) increased by 0.32 percent on monthly basis and by 12.78 percent on the twelve months moving averages basis in December.
ND-PPI monthly increased by 1.68 percent in the index for mining and stone quarrying, and increased by 0.29 percent in the index for manufacturing.
The highest rates of monthly increase in ND-PPI by sub divisions of industry were indices for food products with 2.52 percent, for metal ores with 2.51 percent and for computer, electronic and optical products with 2.05 percent.
The highest rates of monthly decrease in ND-PPI by sub divisions of industry were indices for coke and refined petroleum products with 12.02 percent, for wearing apparel with 1.00 percent and leather and related products with 0.67 percent.
According to main industrial groupings classification in December 2014, the highest rates of monthly increase were in durable consumer goods, the highest rates of annual increase were in intermediate goods.
