Non-Domestic Producer Prices Rose By 3.35 Percent In Feb.

- Non-domestic producer price index (ND-PPI), which measures the change in the price of goods manufactured in the country and

- Non-domestic producer price index (ND-PPI), which measures the change in the price of goods manufactured in the country and exported in a reference period rose by 3.35 percent in February on monthly basis, fuelled by the lira depreciation.

ND-PPI increased by 1.82 percent in two months and fell by 1.24 percent on annual basis, according to the Non-Domestic Producer Price Index data, released by Turkstat on Friday.

ND-PPI monthly increased by 2.82 percent in the index for mining and stone quarrying, and increased by 3.37 percent in the index for manufacturing.

The highest rates of monthly increase in ND-PPI by sub divisions of industry were indices for coke and refined petroleum products with 16.76 percent, followed by other mining and quarrying products with 8.81 percent and food products with 4.48 percent.

On the other hand the highest rates of monthly decrease in ND-PPI by sub divisions of industry was index for metal ores with 4.00 percent. According to main industrial groupings classification in February, the highest rates of monthly increase were in energy goods and the highest rates of annual increase were in intermediate goods.
