- The BOTAŞ (Petroleum Pipeline Cooperation) pipeline in south-eastern province of Diyarbakır was manacled for petroleum theft, according to the Diyarbakır Governate's statement.
The gendarmerie in Diyarbakır has launched an operation and has seized 22 thousand litres of filched raw petroleum in a petrol tanker’s reservoir, having revealed the theft.
The Diyarbakır Municipality has stated that gendarme command teams of the region have enforced a preventive patrol within the fight against theft.
“In line with the chief prosecutor’s office’s instructions, a vehicle that has taken part in the crime, and the stolen 22 thousand litres of raw petroleum had been seized and the suspect that had fled the area is still subject to efforts for entrapment by gendarmerie" said in the statement.
