Istanbul, June 7 (DHA) - According to the votes counted, more than 94 percent, ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) seen to lose the majority in the Parliament, in Turkish general elections held on Sunday.
With more than 94 percent of the votes counted, the AKP stands at 41.04 percent, the Republican People’s Party (CHP) is at 25.23 percent, the Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) is the third party with 16.55 percent of the votes while the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) is well above the 10 percent threshold at 12.49 percent.
With theese vote shares, the AKP will have 258 seats in the Parliament, below the majority of 276 seats, while CHP seen to have 132, MHP 82 and HDP 78 seats.
