- Mortgage house sales throughout Turkey rose by 85.2 percent in March on annual basis, while total house sales increased by 32.4 percent over the same period, according to the house sales statistics data released by Turkstat, on Tuesday.
House sales rose by 32.4 percent to 116 thousand units in March on annual basis, while the mortaged house sales rose to 45 thousand 315 units reching to 39.1 percent share of all house sales in Turkey.
Mortgage house sales rose by 53.6 percent to 36 thousand 952 units, having a 38.9 percent share in total house sales in Turkey in February.
New house sales in Turkey rose by 22.6 percent to 51 thousand 487 units on annual basis, having 44.4 percent share of all house sales in Turkey, while second hand house sales rose by 41.4 percent to 64 thousand 543 units, over the same period.
In March, total 1,610 houses were sold to foreigners, 548 of which sold in İstanbul, followed by Antalya with 451 house sales, Yalova with 119 house sales, Bursa with 103 house sales, Aydın with 72 house sales and Sakarya with 65 house sales.
